What the Bible says about Homosexuality

Yesterday I responded to a book about to be published and was bombarded by much hate of my views. I did not really know so many people hated God and the bible. It was about homosexuality, which the bible calls a sin, much like murder or just a bad thought, it's all the same sin in God's eyes.

Cover of book this is about.

Here are the contents of the book:

CONTENT OF THE BOOK -Introduction -The Address of discrimination -Judgemental issues -Self- righteousness the scapegoat for hate -How homosexual people had been side-lined from the Gospel -The journey of salvation -The core issue of salvation -The nature of sin is not homosexuality -You are what you confess -The concept of attraction -God who respects our choices -Where did things go wrong

Below this are the comments beginning with my comment on this subject. Apparently I was the one who hated. Beware, some messages contain fowl language.

Mark Castleberry But homosexuality is a sin. It's in the bible. Seems if your truly saved, you would not want to live in that sin. Pedro Antonio Idarraga Oh another dumb ass, judging adults for loving each other, you also need to get educated and stop believing in fantasies, look at you old man, grow up...Pathetic indeed... Author T M Fletcher I would like to respectfully disagree with you on the grounds that it is said all humans are created by god and also in his image.

Now stay with me, what if god created gay couples to love those children being they cannot physically pro create and the only thing holding those kids back from having two loving parents regardless of genders is man's judgement of them?

If god/ Jesus whoever you believe stood before you and saw how gays/pagans/ and well anyone that is different has been treated just what do you think he'd say?

When in fact it is his will for you not to judge, but to leave that to him.. Just a simple thought from myself. Amy Nowacoski Selling your daughters and killing them for adultry is also in the Bible. Is that ok? Robert Bocking So is eating pork and shellfish, mixing fabrics.

I think this is some ignorance of some not knowing the Bible itself. Later I had many that agreed with me about what the Bible said and also face trouble. But homosexuality is a sin, and everyone sins. You are not born gay, you are born into sin. It's fleshly lust and not of God. You love the gay person, but you hate the sin of homosexuality. There were also some filthy pictures or gifs attached which I am not going to share.

Here are some of the things that the Bible says. All verses are in King James Version, the one closest to the original text.

Leviticus 18:22 - Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it [is] abomination.

Leviticus 20:13 - If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them.

1 Corinthians 7:2 - Nevertheless, [to avoid] fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

Jude 1:7 - Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Romans 1:27 - And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Now, Jesus Christ died for all sin, even for homosexuality, and rose again on the third day to cleans all sins, past, present, and future. All you need to do is to believe and accept Him into you heart. Saved by Grace, no by works. And once you are saved, your priorities tend to change.

You are going to continue to sin, because you still have the flesh holding you back. So you will need to repent and ask forgiveness for your sins. You life changes forever. You cannot lose your salvation, even if you backslide. God always brings you back to Him. This is from personal experience of my own life.
